DLA Piper and Han Kun Law Offices have advised Luxshare Precision Industry, a global component manufacturer and key Apple supplier, on its HK$24.27 billion (US$3.09 billion) initial public offering on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the largest IPO in Hong Kong so far this year.
The DLA Piper team was led by Sherlyn Lau, Head of Capital Markets and Corporate Finance, Asia Pacific, with support from senior legal officer Linda Ruan and associates Iris Yuen and Jacob Zhao. Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer acted for the joint sponsors and underwriters on Hong Kong and U.S. law, while Zhong Lun Law Firm advised the underwriting syndicate on PRC law. The Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer team was led by partners Matt Emsley, Stanley Xie and Jin Kong.
The listing establishes Luxshare's "A+H" dual-listing structure, complementing its existing listing on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. The IPO proceeds will support the expansion of the company's automotive electrical architecture and cable harness business following its acquisition of Leoni AG in April 2026, alongside investments in AI hardware, data centre module research and development, smart factory upgrades, and the repayment of high-interest debt.
The offering attracted cornerstone investors including Temasek Holdings, GIC and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), and was jointly sponsored by CITIC Securities, China International Capital Corporation (CICC), and Goldman Sachs. Other legal advisers on the transaction included Mingforever Law Firm on Taiwan law and Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton on international sanctions and export control laws.
