The Dubai International Financial Centre Courts (DIFC Courts) and The Mediation Hub MENA have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote the wider adoption of mediation as an accessible and effective dispute resolution mechanism across the UAE business community.
Delivered through the DIFC Courts Mediation Service Centre, the collaboration aims to strengthen mediation capabilities and expand access to mediation services for businesses, SMEs and eligible individuals. By providing a confidential and practical alternative to litigation, the initiative will broaden the range of dispute resolution options available through the DIFC Courts while supporting greater access to justice.
Under the MoU, the DIFC Courts Mediation Service Centre and TMH will jointly develop Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes, awareness sessions and capacity-building initiatives for legal professionals and DIFC-registered entities. The partnership will also explore the introduction of a community mediation scheme and create mediation observation opportunities for TMH-nominated members.
