Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) has announced the appointment of finance and capital markets specialist Xuan Jin as a partner in its Hong Kong office, reinforcing the firm's cross-border finance and capital markets capabilities across key international markets.

Dual-qualified in England & Wales and Hong Kong, Xuan brings more than 19 years of experience advising financial institutions, development finance institutions, governments and multinational corporations on complex cross-border financing, capital markets and regulatory matters spanning North and Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

His practice covers a broad range of debt capital markets and structured finance transactions, including public and private credit, liability management, and sustainable, sustainability-linked and Islamic finance. Before joining WFW, Xuan was a partner in the Hong Kong and Singapore offices of White & Case, having also spent a significant part of his career in the Middle East, where he developed extensive experience in emerging markets.

Working alongside colleagues across WFW's global network, Xuan will advise clients operating in the firm's core sectors of energy, infrastructure and transport.
